About This Trail

A family-friendly trail perfect for beginners and intermediate riders. This scenic loop winds through Cedar Canyon with moderate terrain, beautiful ponderosa pine forests, and several creek crossings. The trail is well-maintained and offers plenty of spots for picnicking and photos. This is an excellent choice for new riders or families. The terrain is forgiving with only a few rocky sections. Great beginner trail. Took my family out and everyone had a blast. The creek crossings were fun but not intimidating.

Seasonal Notes

Open year-round, but best May-October. Spring runoff can make creek crossings deeper.
